Aletta Fredericks

Aletta Fredericks (* 1987 or 1988 in Bethanie , West Africa ) is a Namibian politician the SWAPO and governor of the region ǁKaras Region .

Prior to her appointment as governor on April 7, 2020, Fredericks was employed by the Department of Health . In addition, she has been the council chairwoman in Bethanie since 2010 and the party political representative of SWAPO in the region since 2017.

She is the first female governor to be born and raised in the region.
