Alev is the Turkish word for flame .

history

The band was formed in 2001 when Alev Lenz met Patrick Fleischer, who owns a recording studio . Patrick was so enthusiastic about Alev's voice that he suggested that they test shoots together. Together with Martin they recorded Sleeping beauty and got a publishing deal with BMG .

After a few line-up changes in the band and a self-published album, Alev signed a recording deal with SAD Music in 2004 , which resulted in the album We Live in Paradise .

In mid-October 2005 Alev Lenz decided to leave the band and pursue a solo career. As her replacement, Alexandra Janzen was accepted into the band.

In April and May 2006 the crew went on an 18-day China tour. She performed at the Midi Modern Music Festival in Beijing , the largest music festival in China. Immediately afterwards, in May 2006, the Turkey tour followed . a. Istanbul , Ankara and Cappadocia.

On May 23, 2008 the album ALEV was released by Fastball Music / SonyBMG.
