Alex Debón
Alex Debón Latorre (born March 1, 1976 in Vall de Uxó ) is a former Spanish motorcycle racer .
Career
Alex Debón made his debut in the motorcycle world championship in 1998 . After average results in the 250 cm³ world championship for various Spanish and Italian private teams from 2000 to 2005 , Aprilia signed him as a test driver for 2006 and 2007 . He showed courageous races with a total of five top 5 placements in only nine races, whereupon the Spaniard received a contract as a works contract with Aprilia.
Alex Debón experienced his most successful season in 2008 with the Lotus Aprilia team . He won the Grand Prix of France and the Czech Republic and was fourth overall. The Spaniard proved his racing skills again in 2009 at Avintia Racing , in which he was almost consistently in the top 10 and finished tenth overall.
In the 2010 season , Alex Debón started the newly created Moto2 class for the Aeroport de Castello - Ajo team on FTR . At the first race of the season, the Qatar Grand Prix in Losail , he took second place. After that there were no more podium places. He finished the season with 73 points in 16th place.
