Live and act

Alex Frick was the son of the businessman (and later an honorary member of the Hohenzoller Historical Society ) Max Frick from Sigmaringen, who was interested in history. Alex Frick studied medicine and opened a dental practice in Tettnang in 1927, where he developed a lively commitment in the social and historical-cultural field in the decades that followed. As president of the fool's club, he enlivened the Tettnang street carnival from 1937; From 1951 he headed the Tettnang local group of the German Red Cross and was a member of the Tettnang municipal council between 1957 and 1972.

Frick's main extra-professional interest was history, both his hometown Sigmaringen and especially his place of work Tettnang. There he arranged both the parish and the city archives and was instrumental in setting up the Montfort Museum in the Gate Castle.

Alex Frick was married to Johanna Forster.
