Jutta Wilke
Jutta Wilke (born March 7, 1963 in Hanau ) is a German author . She writes books for children and young people and books for young adults.
Life
Jutta Wilke grew up with a sister in Ronneburg (Main-Kinzig-Kreis), where she attended elementary school, after which she first switched to the Langenselbold comprehensive school, then to the Hohe Landesschule in Hanau . There she graduated from high school in 1982 and studied law at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main . Wilke worked for twelve years as a lawyer and specialist lawyer for family law before she gave up her legal profession in 2004 and started working as a freelance writer.
Jutta Wilke lives with her five children and her partner in Hanau. In addition to her work as a writer, Wilke and her partner run a project to promote salon culture in Hanau, she also heads the Writing World Forum for German-speaking authors of books for children and young people, gives courses in creative writing for children and young people and makes an active effort to promote reading among children .
Wilke is a member of the authors' association Das Syndikat and the Murderous Sisters . She is also a member of the Association of German Writers (VS) , the Working Group for Youth Literature (AKJ) , the Horst Bingel Foundation Literature eV and the Frankfurt Novel Factory .

Wilke's debut novel Holundermond was published in 2011 by Coppenrath Verlag in Münster. For the work on her novel Wie ein Flügelschlag Wilke received a working grant from the Hessian Ministry for Science and Art. In 2013, Wie ein Flügelschlag was nominated for the Hansjörg Martin Prize by the authors' association Das Syndikat . Her novel Schwarz wie Schnee Sauerländer was nominated in 2013 for the Landshut Youth Book Prize and for the Segeberger Feder . Wilke's novel The Inner Values of Tanjas BH , published under her pseudonym Alex Haas , was selected as one of the 100 best books of 2013 by Focus Spezial magazine . In December 2013 Wilke received a working grant from the State of Hesse for her work on the Roofer novel project .
