The Tannauerbach is a year-round flowing water in the Vorkarwendel . It arises from two main branches at the Schleimsattel, runs largely in a north-westerly direction and, after its confluence with the Eiskönigbach, forms the Dürrach . Hydrologically, it is the upper reaches of the Dürrach.
