Alex Mizurov

Alex Mizurov (born June 20, 1988 in Astana (since 2019 Nur-Sultan) , Kazakhstan ) is a German skateboarder of Kazakh origin. He was European skateboard champion (2006) and German champion five times.

Career

As a child, Alex Mizurov moved with his parents to Rastatt in Germany.

Before he got into skating through a classmate, he played football for Frankonia Rastatt.

In 2006 he became European champion in Basel and Mizurov won the international "Es-Game of SKATE" in San Diego . He prevailed against his colleague and American professional cat in the final, and dubbed Skater of the year 2006, Chris Cole . This victory helped him gain popularity in the USA, whereupon some high-class skate brands noticed him and signed him.

In 2006 Mizurov worked together with Jan Kliewer , Paco Elles and Laif Draasch in the video “5.1 Fahrvergnügen”, which was produced in cooperation with the skateboarding magazine Playboard . He also finished sixth at the X Games in Dubai in December 2007 . In 2007 he won first place for the EMillion team at the “Grind-around-the-Christmas tree” festival in the Carhartt Skatepark in Weil am Rhein .

In February 2017, he was a guest on the TV show Klein gegen Groß .

Mizurov lives in Gaggenau and trains at the Karlsruher Verein Rollbrett e. V. In 2020 he was a member of the German Olympic team.

He is known for his technically demanding skate tricks.
