Alex Price is a British actor .

Life

Alex Price completed his acting education at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art . He successfully completed this in 2005. He then appeared in a number of plays, including Is Everyone OK? (Nabokov Touring Project), Colorings (Old Red Lion), The Duchess of Malfi (National Theater Studio) and Birdland (Royal Court Theater). In 2007 Alex Price traveled to the United States to direct the film A Horse with No Name . However, the producers only had $ 10,000 and no script. So the film wasn't finished until 2010. In 2008, Alex Price appeared in the television series Casualty .

He became internationally known for his supporting roles in the British television series Being Human , Doctor Who and Merlin - The New Adventure . In Being Human , he portrayed the ghost Gilbert, who died in 1985 and fell in love with Annie . In Doctor Who he was seen in the episode The Vampires of Venice as the alien vampire Francesco . Since 2013 he has played the leading role of Sid Carter in the crime series Father Brown - Always a Tick Ahead . In 2014, he played Frankenstein's creation Proteus in the British-US co-production Penny Dreadful , the performance of which was praised by critics. Alex Price played Draco Malfoy in the London play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in 2016 .
