Sandrine Marie Adèle Cantoreggi (born May 29, 1969 in Bègles , Gironde department ) is a Luxembourg violinist and professor of violin at the Conservatory of Luxembourg City .

Life

Sandrine Cantoreggi received her training at the Conservatoire vun der Stad Lëtzebuerg . After studying with the French violinist Pierre Amoyal in Paris and with Roman Nodel at the University of Music and Performing Arts Mannheim in Germany, she became the last student of the Belgian violinist Carlo Van Neste . In Belgium she finished her studies at the Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth de Belgique and passed her concert exam at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris . In 2005 she took citizenship of Luxembourg.

She has appeared as a soloist in the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg, the Gewandhaus in Leipzig, the Rudolfinum in Prague, La Monnaie in Brussels, the Salle Gaveau and Musée d'Orsay in Paris under conductors such as Yehudi Menuhin , Wladimir Spiwakow , Grzegorz Nowak and Pierre Cao .

Your instrument is a violin by Giovanni Battista Guadagnini from the 18th century. Her repertoire includes works by Pietro Antonio Locatelli , George Onslow , Eugène Ysaÿe , George Enescu , Maurice Ravel and Ottorino Respighi .
