Alexandar Petkovic (born October 11, 1995 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Petkovic started his career at SC Hatlerdorf . In 2008 he switched to the youth team at FC Dornbirn 1913 . In 2009 he came to AKA Vorarlberg , where he went through all age groups until 2013.

In May 2013 he made his debut for his home club Dornbirn in the regional league when he was in the starting line-up against FC Kufstein on matchday 29 of the 2012/13 season . From the 2013/14 season he was only used for Dornbirn. That season he came to 22 games in the Regionalliga, in which he was able to score a goal.

For the 2014/15 season he moved to league rivals FC Bizau . At the end of the season he had 25 games to book for Bizau, but he had to relegate to the Vorarlbergliga with the club .

After a season in the fourth-highest division, Petkovic moved to the third-class amateurs of SCR Altach for the 2016/17 season . In his first season for Altach II came 27 games in the regional league. He scored his first goal for the Altach amateurs the following season in September 2017 against SV Wörgl . In April 2018 he was in the professional squad for the first time against Wolfsberger AC . He made his debut for this in the Bundesliga in May 2018 when he came on as a substitute for Stefan Nutz on matchday 33 of the 2017/18 season against SV Mattersburg in stoppage time .

For the 2019/20 season he moved to Liechtenstein for USV Eschen-Mauren, who play in the fourth Swiss league . After 14 appearances for the Liechtenstein team in the first division , he returned to Austria for the 2020/21 season and moved to the fourth-class FC Egg .
