Alexander construction
Alexander Bau (born April 17, 1970 in Erlabrunn ) is a former German luge rider . The athlete starting for Oberwiesenthaler SV belonged to the German elite of single-seaters in the 1990s. In the 1988/1989 season he took second place in the overall ranking of the Junior World Cup. His greatest successes among seniors were his participation in the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer , where he finished 15th, and two third places at the German Championships in 1996 in Altenberg and 1997 in Winterberg (behind Georg Hackl and Jens Müller ).
He works as a physiotherapist in the community of Sehmatal .
