Alexander Becker (born September 27, 1991 in Mannheim ) is a German handball player . The 1.98 meter tall circle player plays for the second division club VfL Gummersbach .

Alexander Becker began playing handball at SG / MTG / PSV Mannheim in his childhood. After playing for TSV Mannheim from 2002 to 2004 and then for HSG Mannheim, Becker moved to the Rhein-Neckar Löwen in 2007 , where he was in the Bundesliga team from 2009, but at the same time was given a second game right for the second division TSG Friesenheim . In 2010, Alexander Becker moved to TSG Friesenheim, where he received a second game right for the Rhein-Neckar Löwen during the 2011/12 season. Since the 2012/13 season he played for TV 1893 Neuhausen . For the 2014/15 season he moved to VfL Gummersbach . In summer 2020 he will join VfL Eintracht Hagen .

With the German national junior handball team, Alexander Becker was junior world champion in 2011.
