Alexander Dercho (* 21st January 1987 in Remscheid as Alexander Krük ) is a former German football player .
Club career
Alexander Dercho began his career in 1994 at SG Hackenberg . From 2001 he played in the youth teams of Fortuna Düsseldorf and Borussia Mönchengladbach as well as in the regional league teams of Mönchengladbach and Kickers Emden , before moving to Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt in summer 2008 . After a long break from injury, he made his professional debut on December 6, 2008 in the Bundesliga match against VfL Bochum . In the 2009/10 season, the defender was loaned to VfL Osnabrück . At the end of the season Dercho rose to the 2nd Bundesliga with VfL. He was then firmly committed in June 2010 and signed a contract with VfL until 2012. After VfL relegated to the third division , he moved to co-relegated Arminia Bielefeld on August 13, 2011 .
After just a year in Bielefeld, Dercho returned to VfL Osnabrück for the 2012/13 season. He stayed there for seven seasons. In the 2018/19 season Dercho won the championship of the 3rd soccer league with VfL and thus rose to the 2nd Bundesliga for the second time since 2010. Due to the late effects of a cartilage damage that he sustained in 2017, Dercho had to end his career as a professional footballer during the summer break of 2019. From 2012 Dercho had come to 179 third division appearances at VfL, his only three goals in this period he scored in the 2013/14 season .
