Alexander Edezath
Alexander Edezath (born October 26, 1904 in Kumbalanghi , British India , † August 21, 1979 ) was Bishop of Cochin .
Life
Alexander Edezath received on 20 December 1935, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On June 19, 1952, Pope Pius XII appointed him . to the Bishop of Cochin. The Patriarch of Lisbon , Manuel Cardinal Gonçalves Cerejeira , donated him episcopal ordination on December 7th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Goa and Daman , José da Costa Nunes , and the Coadjutor Archbishop of Goa and Daman, José Vieira Alvernaz .
On August 29, 1975, Alexander Edezath resigned as Bishop of Cochin.
