Alexander Gründler (born July 24, 1993 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Gründler began his career at SC Schwaz . In 2007 he went to AKA Tirol. In 2011 he went to FC Wacker Innsbruck , for whose regional league team he played. He made his Bundesliga and professional debut on the twelfth match day of the 2013/14 season against FC Red Bull Salzburg . Gründler stayed with the club even after relegation.

For the 2017/18 season he moved to league competitor SC Wiener Neustadt . After the 2017/18 season he left Wiener Neustadt and returned to Wacker Innsbruck, where he joined the now second-rate team. In April 2019 he played for the Bundesliga team from Wacker for the first time after his return. With Wacker he had to relegate from the Bundesliga in 2019.
