Sunday Adeyemi Faleye (born November 29, 1998 in Lagos ) is a Nigerian football player .

Career

Faleye started his career at Shooting Stars FC . In February 2019 he moved to Austria to join the third-class amateurs of Bundesliga club SCR Altach . He made his regional league debut in March 2019 when he was in the starting line-up against SK Bischofshofen on matchday 19 of the 2018/19 season. He scored his first goal in April 2019 in a 5-3 win against SV Wörgl .

In July 2019 he moved to the second division club FC Wacker Innsbruck , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2021.

National team

Faleye made his debut for the Nigerian national team during CHAN 2018 in January 2018 when he started in the first group match against Rwanda . His first goal came in a 1-0 win over Libya in the second group game. With Nigeria he failed only in the final against Morocco ; Faleye appeared in four of Nigeria's six games during the tournament.
