Alexander Grigorjewitsch Samoilenko ( Russian Александр Григорьевич Самойленко , scientific transliteration Aleksandr Grigor'evič Samojlenko ; born July 20, 1957 in Kalach , Voronezh Oblast ; † December 5, 2006 was a Russian industrialist in Samara , Russia )

Since September 2004, Samoilenko has been the general manager of Itera-Samara, a former leading gas trader in Russia. However, large parts of the group were taken over by Gazprom in 2006 . Samoilenko was shot dead in the street; the public prosecutor's office assumes a contract killing . Samoilenko has recently been embroiled in fierce competition for energy supplies to parts of the city of Tolyatti .

Together with the Lada manufacturer AwtoWAS , Itera founded a company called Awtowasenergo , which is responsible for the energy supply and distribution on the large factory premises. Two weeks before his murder, Samoilenko left his post at Itera and took over the management of Avtowasenergo.

The assassination received international attention in a number of contract killings and the like. a. to Anna Politkowskaja , Alexander Litvinenko , Andrei Koslow and Alexander Plochin .
