Alexander Lahl

Alexander Lahl (* 1979 in Berlin ) is a German screenwriter , film producer and director of short films .

Life

Alexander Lahl studied cultural studies in Berlin , Frankfurt (Oder) and Breslau . He works as a freelance writer and filmmaker on the subjects of nature, politics and history. His focus is on TV documentaries and animated films. In 2016, Lahl presented his short film Kaputt , produced with Volker Schlecht and Max Mönch, at the Berlinale , which was shown in the Berlinale Shorts competition and competed for the Golden Bear for short films. The film was also presented at the Sundance Film Festival 2017 in the Short Films section, where it received an award in the animation category. He acted as a producer on the documentary Bouncers of Europe , released in 2018 . Alexander Lahl was born in Berlin in 1979. Together with Max Mönch, he runs mobyDOK media production.
