Alexander light
Alexander Licht (born September 13, 1952 in Brauneberg ) is a German, independent master winemaker and member of the state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate.
Live and act
After attending the commercial school and the viticulture school, Licht passed the master winemaker examination in 1975. He is married and has three children. In addition to his political commitment, he is also the chairman of the Kueser Academy for European Intellectual History .
Licht has been a member of the CDU since 1975 and has been the district chairman of the CDU Bernkastel-Wittlich since 1992. Between 1981 and 1985 he was still the district chairman of the Junge Union. He was involved in local politics since 1979 as a member of the district council, from 1989 a member of the municipal council and the association council and from 1998 as the first district councilor.
He has been a member of the state parliament since May 18, 1991. From 1993 to 2006 he was environmental policy spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group in Rhineland-Palatinate . Alexander Licht has been deputy chairman of the CDU parliamentary group since 2006. He is also a member of the Council of Elders , the Committee for Home Affairs, Sport and State Planning ( Interior Committee ), the "Tourism RLP" commission of inquiry , the Interim Committee, the Committee for Agriculture and Viticulture and the Committee for Economics and Transport.
