Alexander Merk (born January 19, 1987 in Augsburg , Germany ) is a German magician .

Merk is a member and multiple award winner of the Magic Circle of Germany . With the poetic magic performance Murgel he achieved overall victory at the German Championships of Magic in 2008 in the category "General Magic" and became German champion in this category.

As a specialist author, he wrote numerous columns for the journal Magische Welt und MAGIE . At the beginning of 2010 he published his textbook Basisarbeit . At the beginning of 2018 he published his magic book "Strange things - 33 magic tricks for your everyday life".
