Alexander Nefzger
Alexander Nefzger (* 1969 in Vienna ) is an Austrian sound engineer who became known as a part-time pianist , accordionist , arranger and music producer in the fields of alternative , indie and pop .
Life
Nefzger traces his ancestors back to the Strohmayer , Viennese folk musicians in the 19th century and former partners of the Schrammel brothers . From the age of 6 he received piano lessons and at the age of 16 he founded his first band. As a keyboard player he played for a while with the metal band Stahlhammer until he came to Mika Vember , among others .
Nefzger trained as a sound engineer and has been working full-time as a sound designer and music supervisor at the Burgtheater in Vienna since the 1990s . He first started working for André Heller in 1999 as a part-time producer . Since then he has produced Clara Luzia , Kommando Elefant , illute and others, among others .
