Alexander Nikolajewitsch Tkachev ( Russian Александр Николаевич Ткачёв ; born December 23, 1960 in Vyselky , Krasnodar region ) is a Russian politician of the United Russia party .

Life

Tkachev studied engineering at the Krasnodar Polytechnic Institute . In 1994 he was elected as a member of the Duma and in 1999 he was re-elected as a member. From December 3, 2000 to April 22, 2015, he was the successor of Nikolai Kondiegenko as governor of the Krasnodar Territory . He was succeeded in office as governor Weniamin Kondratjew .

Since April 22, 2015, Tkachev was the successor to Nikolai Vasilyevich Fyodorov in the government cabinet of Dmitri Anatolyevich Medvedev, Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. In May 2018, Dmitry Patrushev succeeded him in Medvedev's second cabinet . He is married to Olga Tkachova and has two children.

criticism

The environmental activist Yevgeny Vitischko , who was sentenced to three years in a camp , denounced environmental damage caused by the construction work for the 2014 Winter Olympics and is said to have put up protest posters on the villa of the governor of the Krasnodar Olympic region , Alexander Tkachev, because the building was illegally used should have been built.
