Alexander Ott
Alexander Ott (born April 25, 1908 as Georg Julius Schmidt in Berlin-Lichterfelde ; † January 14, 1978 in Wildpark West , Brandenburg ) was a German writer who was best known in the GDR as a lyricist of political songs. He was also the rewrite of numerous foreign-language songs, especially from the Soviet Union . He also composed songs.
