Alexander Sergejewitsch Ossipow ( Russian Александр Сергеевич Осипов ; born March 24, 1989 in Nizhny Tagil , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who was most recently under contract with HK Spartak Moscow in the Continental Hockey League .

Career

Alexander Ossipow began his career as a hockey player with several amateur teams in Tyumen , before he was active from 2007 to 2009 for the professional team of Gasowik Tyumen in the second-rate Vysschaja Liga . Then the defender received a contract with Amur Khabarovsk from the Continental Hockey League . In his first season in the KHL, the right-handed shooter scored one goal and one assist in 17 games each in the 2009/10 season . He also received ten penalty minutes.

In January 2013, Ossipow moved to Atlant Mytishchi as part of an exchange deal , before a few weeks later - after Atlant no longer had a chance of reaching the play-offs - was given to SKA Saint Petersburg . For the SKA, he then completed three main round and ten play-off games. After the end of the season he was committed by Ak Bars Kazan and completed 30 KHL games for the club. Shortly after the start of the 2014/15 season, he moved to HK Dynamo Moscow against payment of a compensation payment . After a mixed start to the 2016/17 season, he was given to HK Awangard Omsk in October 2016 in exchange for Andrei Kuteikin .

Most recently he was under contract with HK Spartak Moscow between October 2017 and July 2019 .
