Alexander Steinlechner (born March 24, 2000 in Bad Ischl ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Steinlechner began his career at ASV Bad Mitterndorf . In 2013 he switched to the youth team at SC Liezen . For the 2014/15 season he moved to the academy of Kapfenberger SV . From 2015 he played for the third team of KSV, the ASC Rapid Kapfenberg .

For the 2018/19 season he moved into the squad of the fifth-rate amateurs of the Kapfenbergs. In January 2019 it was awarded to the fourth class USC Rohrbach / Gölsen . For Rohrbach he completed six games in the regional league by the end of the season .

After returning to Kapfenberg, he received a professional contract that ran until June 2020 in July 2019. He made his debut in the second division in the same month when he came on as a substitute for Lukas Skrivanek in the 86th minute on the first day of that season against FC Blau-Weiß Linz .
