Alexander Tutsek

Alexander Tutsek (born January 4, 1927 in Comandău ( Hungarian  Kommandó), Romania ; † September 14, 2011 in Munich ) was a Hungarian- German entrepreneur .

Life

Alexander Tutsek was born on January 4th, 1927 in the Romanian Szeklerland . He attended grammar school in Budapest . In 1947 he was sentenced to prison after a failed attempt to escape to the West. In 1951 he managed to escape from a forced labor camp to Vienna . There he worked as a journalist and ran a press agency .

Alexander Tutsek was brought in by the family of his first wife to support the company Steinwerke Feuerfest Karl Albert GmbH, founded by his father-in-law Karl Albert in 1951 . After his father-in-law left the company, he took over the management of the company and developed the company into the internationally operating Refratechnik group. The Refratechnik Group is managed by Refratechnik Holding GmbH, of which Tutsek was a partner and chairman of the management board.

In 2000, Alexander Tutsek founded the non-profit Alexander Tutsek Foundation together with his fourth wife, the psychologist Eva-Maria Fahrner-Tutsek (* 1952) . It promotes art and science.
