Alexander von Grunelius (District Administrator)
Carl Alexander von Grunelius (born November 21, 1869 in Frankfurt am Main ; † October 8, 1938 there ) was a German civil servant and politician ( DNVP ).
Life
Alexander von Grunelius studied at the Universities of Bonn and Heidelberg law . In 1889 he became a member of the Corps Palatia Bonn . In the same year he joined the Corps Guestphalia Heidelberg . After completing his studies, he entered the Prussian civil service. From 1905 to 1921 he was District Administrator of the district Hersfeld . From 1911 to 1921 he was also a member of the Kassel Communal Parliament and the Provincial Parliament of the Hesse-Nassau Province . Most recently he lived as a banker in Frankfurt am Main.
