Alexander von Schalscha

Alexander Franz Johannes von Schalscha-Ehrenfeld (born August 9, 1836 in Loslau , † March 18, 1895 in Frohnau ) was the owner of the manor and a member of the German Reichstag .

Life

family

On his father's side, Alexander von Schalscha-Ehrenfeld came from an old Silesian noble family, the von Schalscha-Ehrenfeld family . He was born in 1836 as the son of the royal Prussian district and judicial councilor Joseph Valentin Stephan von Schalscha-Ehrenfeld (1802–1890) and his wife Maria Theresia Schipp von Branitz (1813–1887).

career

Schalscha attended high school in Racibórz and then studied law and Cameralia in Wroclaw . He joined the army in 1856, became an officer in 1858 and as such took part in the Polish border occupation in 1863 and in the Main campaign in 1866 . Then he devoted himself to agriculture on Frohnau near Löwen and on Dziadkowo in the Gnesen district . From 1889 to 1895 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from 1877 to 1887 and from 1890 to 1893 of the German Reichstag first for the constituency of Oppeln 4 ( Lublinitz , Tost - Gleiwitz ), then for Falkenberg - Grottkau and the German Center Party .
