Alexandra Meisl (born Gräfer ; born August 17, 1978 in Düsseldorf ) is a former German handball player .

After stations and a. At Bayer 04 Leverkusen , HSG Blomberg-Lippe and HC Leipzig , the 1.88 m tall goalkeeper was under contract with DJK / MJC Trier between 2002 and 2007 and won the German championship there in 2003. For the 2007/08 season she moved to the second division club Frisch Auf Göppingen . In the summer of 2010 she ended her career.

The goalkeeper is a member of the national team and has so far played 63 international matches. Her international debut was on November 23, 1999 in Hude against Romania. She took part in the European Championships in 2004 and 2006 and in the World Cup in 2005.

Alexandra Meisl is a trained banker and is currently studying to become a qualified fitness economist.
