Alexandra Selzer (* 1995 ) is a German athlete who specializes in long sprints and relay races. Her greatest success so far is winning the title at the 2017 German Indoor Championships with the 4 x 200 meter relay .

Athletic career

Alexandra Selzer came from hockey to the career through a talent scouting measure . But although she loved running as a teenager, she didn't like competitions.

In 2010 she led the U16 best list in the 800-meter run .

In 2012 Selzer took second place in the U18 best list in the 800 and 400 meter run .

In 2013 she reached 6th place at the German Indoor Championships and 7th place at the German Youth Championships for the U18s over the 400 meters .

Selzer won her first title in the adult class in 2017 with the relay over 4 x 200 meters in a personal best of 1: 35.41 min at the German Indoor Championships .

Club membership

Alexandra Selzer has been working for the LG Olympia Dortmund since 2017 . Your home club is TSC Eintracht Dortmund . Before that, she was with DJK Rheinkraft Neuss until the end of 2016 , which she left in protest.
