Alexandre Bloch
Alexandre Bloch (born May 29, 1857 in Paris ; † November 11, 1919 there ) was a French genre and landscape painter .
Life
Bloch was the son of Henri Bloch and his wife Hélène (nee David). He was born at 3 rue Cronehet. Bloch was a student of Gérome and Bastien Lapage. In 1911 he received the rank of Chevalier in the Legion of Honor. He died in the 20th arrondissement of Paris . At his death he was accredited as a military painter.
