Alexandros "Alekos" Kaklamanos ( Greek Αλέξανδρος "Αλέκος" Κακλαμάνος , born May 20, 1974 in Rhodes ) is a Greek football player .
Career
The striker was under contract with Olympiacos from 1995 . With the club he became Greek champion in 1997. Piraeus also took part in the 1996/97 UEFA Cup , where they were eliminated in the first round. He then spent one season each with Athinaikos Athens and Panelefsiniakos FC . In 1999 he moved to Belgium to join Sporting Charleroi . After a year he went to league competitor KAA Gent . With Gent he survived qualifying for the 2000/01 UEFA Cup , but where the club had no chance in the first round against Ajax Amsterdam . In the UI Cup 2002 , Gent reached the third round and lost to FC Málaga . In 2003 Kaklamanos moved to Standard Liège . After the game against FC Brussels in August 2004, he was tested positive in the doping control and was later banned for four months and was then banned from playing in the country due to Belgian law. Therefore, in 2005 he went to Cyprus to APOEL Nicosia . With Nicosia he was able to win both qualifying rounds for the 2005/06 UEFA Cup , but where the club then lost to Hertha BSC in the first round . After a year he moved back to Greece, where he played for Ergotelis and AO Kerkyra . After Enosis Neon Paralimni and AS Rhodos he moved again to Belgium, where he stormed for the third division RU Saint-Gilloise in 2011/12 . Then he went back to Greece. There he played with Thrasyvoulos Fylis and AO Pefki, among others
