Alexandru Sirițeanu (born April 16, 1984 in Iași ) is a former Romanian saber fencer .
successes
Alexandru Sirițeanu became vice European champion with the team in Plovdiv in 2009 and in Legnano in 2012 . In 2005 he had won bronze with her in Zalaegerszeg . At the 2012 Olympic Games in London, he and the team reached the final battle after victories over China and Russia , in which the Romanian team lost to South Korea at 26:45. Together with Rareș Dumitrescu , Florin Zalomir and Tiberiu Dolniceanu , Sirițeanu, who came to his only tournament appearance in the final, received the silver medal. After the games, he ended his career.
