Alexei Petrov ( Russian Алексей Петров ) is a former Soviet ski jumper .
Career
Petrow played his first and only international tournament with the Four Hills Tournament 1974/75 . Already at the opening jump on the Schattenbergschanze in Oberstdorf he achieved the best individual result of the tour with 14th place. On the Great Olympic Hill in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , Petrow jumped only to 39th place in the New Year's competition. After jumping to a good 20th place again a little later on the Bergiselschanze in Innsbruck , he finished the tour in Bischofshofen on the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanzewith a disappointing 63rd place. In total, Petrow won 737.8 points and reached 31st place in the tour's overall ranking.
