Aljaksej "Cypher" Januscheuski ( Belarusian Аляксей Янушэўскі , Russian Алексей Янушевский / Alexei Januschewski; born June 1, 1990 ) is a Belarusian e-athlete in the quake discipline . During his career, Cypher has won more than $ 100,000 in prize money.
Career
In 2006, the then only 16-year-old first became known to a wide audience. At his first international Quake 4 championship, the Electronic Sports World Cup , he finished second behind Michael “winz” Bignet . He then signed a contract with RAW-Gaming, which was later bought by fnatic . On July 12, 2008, he moved to Serious Gaming , where he was under contract until April 2012. He achieved other successes, for example first place at ESWC 2008, QuakeCon 2010 and DreamHack Winter 2011.
In June 2012 he was part of a new ShootMania team at the French organization Millenium . However, he switched back to Quake a short time later and celebrated further successes there, such as winning the QuakeCon 2012 and DreamHack Winter 2013.
Since June 2016 he switched to the Blizzard team shooter Overwatch . Together with Cooller, who is also known from Quake, he is active for ANOX.
