Alexis Phelut (born March 31, 1998 in Beaumont ) is a French athlete who specializes in obstacle course .
Athletic career
Alexis Phelut gained his first international experience in 2015 when he retired from the 2000 meter obstacle course at the Youth World Championships in Cali with 6: 02.83 minutes in the first round. At the 2017 World Cross Country Championships in Kampala , he finished 72nd after 27:07 minutes and at the U20 European Championships in Grosseto , he won the silver medal in 8: 53.73 minutes. In 2018 he won the U23 Mediterranean Championships in Jesolo in 8: 55.89 minutes and the following year he won the silver medal behind the German Frederik Ruppert at the U23 European Championships in Gävle in 8: 44.49 minutes .
