Paul Groß (politician, 1922)

Paul Groß (born December 15, 1922 in Dresden , † June 16, 1963 in Regen ) was a German SPD politician . From 1958 to 1962 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .

Life

Groß attended school until Easter 1941, which he graduated with secondary school leaving certificate. He was then drafted and served as a soldier on the Eastern Front until Germany capitulated on May 9, 1945 . On April 1, 1946, he entered the service of the general local health insurance fund in Regen, where he took the examination for the senior administrative service and was then employed as an administrative inspector.

On February 1, 1946, Groß joined the SPD. There he was the organizational manager of the Regen / Kötzting subdistrict . He belonged to the district council of the Regen district and was deputy parliamentary group chairman there. In May 1958 he took part in the SPD party congress in Stuttgart .

In the state elections in 1958, he entered the state parliament through a mandate in the constituency of Lower Bavaria . For the entire electoral term he was a member of the committee for border issues, in the first half of the electoral term he was also a member of the committees for social policy issues, for issues relating to civil service law and salary as well as for social policy issues and issues relating to displaced persons and victims of war. After the 1962 election, he left the state parliament.
