Alf Mahlo (born September 19, 1960 in Kropstädt ) is a German entertainer, actor and producer.

Life

After graduating from high school and training as an electrician, Alf Mahlo completed a degree in information technology, which he completed as a graduate engineer. He began his stage career as a pantomime artist in 1982. Mahlo was a founding member of Salto vitale, an internationally successful pantomime group in Eastern and Western Europe as well as in the USA. In this ensemble Mahlo embodied the role of the sad clown or black clown . In 1990 he separated from Salto vitale and started an artistic career as a soloist, whose performing spectrum ranges from comedians to singers and musicians to entertainers. In 1992 he performed his first own stage program. Since 1993 he has been working with the playwright and director Matthias Dix . Mahlo premiered and produced pieces and stage programs by Dix in Germany and Switzerland as a performer and also as a producer. In recent years Mahlo has also appeared in Germany and Switzerland as a producer and author of poetic picture theater, stage programs, events and as a TV presenter .

Alf Mahlo lives in Reichenberg near Dresden .
