Alfons Breska
Alfons Breska (born July 13, 1873 in Kladno , † September 26, 1946 in Prague ) was a Czech poet and translator . He often used the pseudonym Otto Elexhauser .
Life
After high school in a Prague high school , he worked at the post office, then as librarian of the artist group " Umělecká beseda ". He was a functionary of the literary circle called Circle of Czech Writers (Kruh českých spisovatelů) and in the Association of Czech Writers Máj (Spolek českých spisovatelů Máj). In addition to poetry , he also wrote dramas .
He mainly translated poetry from French , German , Italian and Spanish . But he also devoted himself to Japanese poetry.
