Alfons Frick

Alfons Frick (born October 1, 1913 in Esslingen am Neckar , † October 25, 2002 in Filderstadt ) was a German politician.

Life

Alfons Frick did a commercial apprenticeship after graduating and worked in this area until he had to take up military service in 1939 . He served on the Western and Eastern Fronts in World War II and was seriously wounded.

After the end of the war, he completed an apprenticeship in higher administrative service (state examination 1946) and became a member of the CDU . From March 1946 to 1976 he was mayor of Neuhausen auf den Fildern . After a repeat election in Waiblingen , he was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg from March 17, 1961 to 1972, and represented constituency 26 (Esslingen II). In the 1960s he was deputy district chairman of the Kuratorium indivisible Germany in the Esslingen district . In 1970 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st class.
