Alfons Maximini

Alfons Maximini (born January 19, 1952 in Konz ) is a German politician ( SPD ). From 2006 to 2011 he was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament .

Education, work and family

After attending primary school , Maximini trained as a technical draftsman . After completing the technical qualification through the second educational path, he studied mechanical engineering at the Trier University of Applied Sciences from 1973 to 1976 (today: Trier University of Applied Sciences ) and then worked as an engineer in the private sector.

Maximini is married and has one child.

Maximini has been a member of the SPD since 1970. Since 1979 he has been a member of the city council in Konz - since 1983 also chairman of the SPD city council group. In 1989 he was also elected to the district council of the Trier-Saarburg district, since 2000 he has also been chairman of the local SPD district parliamentary group. From May 18, 2006 to 2011, Maximini was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament . He represented the constituency 26 of Konz / Saarburg , which includes the municipalities of Konz , Saarburg , Hermeskeil and Kell am See in the Trier-Saarburg district . Maximini was a member of the Committee on Environment, Forestry and Consumer Protection and the Committee on Media and Multimedia. He was also a member of the Enquête Commission on Climate Change.
