Alfons Schäffer (politician)

Alfons Schäffer (born July 27, 1923 in Niederwinkling ; † January 28, 1984 there ) was a German politician ( CSU ).

Schäffer attended the Niederwinkling elementary school and an agricultural training school before he took over his parents' business. In 1952 he was elected mayor, in 1956 he was elected to the Bogener district council. At times he was also the deputy of the district administrator for the district of Bogen . He was also a member of the supervisory board of the Niederwinkling dairy cooperative, of which he was chairman from 1969. He was also a lay judge at the Bavarian Administrative Court in Regensburg and a member of the administrative board of Sparkasse Bogen . At the end of 1972 he moved to the Bavarian State Parliament for the retired Franz Handlos , to which he was a member until 1974. In 1978 he was a member of the state parliament again for six months, this time as a replacement for Ingo Weiß .
