Alfred Gansiniec

Alfred Konrad Gansiniec (born October 29, 1919 in Katowice ; † March 20, 1999 there ) was a Polish ice hockey player and coach .

Career

Alfred Gansiniec played ice hockey at club level for OMP Giszowiec (1934 to 1937), Polonii Janów (1938 to 1939), Siły Giszowiec (1946 to 1951), Górnika Janów (1952 to 1954), Górnika Katowice (1955 to 1958) and Fortuny Wyry ( 1959 to 1960).

In 1959 he was a short-term coach of the Polish national team.

International

For the Polish national ice hockey team Gansiniec took part in the Olympic Winter Games in St. Moritz in 1948 and in Oslo in 1952 . He was also in his country's squad for the 1955 World Cup . In total, he played 47 international matches for Poland, in which he scored 15 goals.
