Alfred Grob

Alfred Grob (born August 29, 1965 in Beilngries ) is a German police officer and politician ( CSU ). He lives in Gerolfing . Furthermore, Grob is married and has three children.

Education and professional career

From 1972 to 1976 Grob attended elementary school in Beilngries . In 1985 he graduated from the Willibald Gymnasium in Eichstätt . From 1987 to 1990 he studied at the Bavarian Civil Service College in Fürstenfeldbruck, department of police. From 2000 to 2002 Grob studied at the University of the Police in Münster (Police Leadership Academy).

Roughly began his police service with the 6th Hundred of the Bavarian riot police in Eichstätt . He then worked at the Fürstenfeldbruck police station , the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior and as head of the Eichstätt police station. He attended the leadership academy in Münster and became head of the Fürstenfeldbruck criminal police. From 2004 to 2010, Alfred Grob headed the special investigation service for combating organized crime at the Upper Bavaria Police Headquarters . From March 2010 until his election, Grob was head of the Ingolstadt criminal police, where he was promoted to chief criminal director. He was responsible for the fight against medium and serious crime for around 500,000 people.

Political commitment

In 1983 Grob joined the Junge Union . 2010–2015 he was head of the CSU regional working group for police and internal security in Ingolstadt , Neuburg and Pfaffenhofen . From 2014 to 2018 he was chairman of the district committee for the center of the city of Ingolstadt. From 2015 to 2019 he held the office of deputy district chairman of the CSU Ingolstadt. Grob has been district chairman of the Ingolstadt CSU since 2019 .

Membership, honorary positions, awards

Since 1992 Alfred Grob has been a member of the Bund der Kriminalbeamten (= police union) as well as several local clubs and associations in Ingolstadt and the surrounding area.

Membership in the Bavarian State Parliament

On October 14, 2018, he was elected to succeed Christine Haderthauer as a direct candidate in the Bavarian state parliament in the Ingolstadt district. Grob is a member of the Committee on Municipal questions, Internal Security and Sport and Committee on the Public Service , a member of the Parliamentary Control Panel (PKG), a member of the Data Protection Commission , spokesman for the CSU parliamentary group in police matters and member of the National Sports Advisory Board .
