The district of Ingolstadt (district 119, district name until 2013 as district 118 Ingolstadt, Neuburg an der Donau ) is a district in Upper Bavaria . Until the state elections in 2008, it included the independent city of Ingolstadt and the large district town of Neuburg adDonau and the communities of Bergheim , Karlskron , Oberhausen , Rennertshofen , Rohrenfels , Weichering in the district of Neuburg-Schrobenhausen . In 2008, 125,640 residents were entitled to vote in the state elections.

For the 2013 state election , the communities of Burgheim, Karlskron, Neuburg adDonau, Oberhausen, Rennertshofen, Weichering and the administrative community Neuburg adDonau were transferred to the newly formed constituency of Neuburg-Schrobenhausen (124). The district name changed to Ingolstadt district and it is now the same area as the city of Ingolstadt.
