Alfred Ibach
Alfred Ibach (born December 26, 1902 in Saarbrücken , † June 16, 1948 in Vienna ) was a German dramaturge, actor, publisher and author.
After completing his studies and doctorate, Ibach initially worked as an actor and dramaturge at the Städtische Bühnen in Frankfurt am Main . Max Reinhardt later brought him to Berlin . In 1936 he moved to Vienna, where he became head of the publishing house “EP Tal & Co.”. He later bought the publishing house from the Jewish owner and continued to run it under his name. From 1938 he was the managing director of the theater in der Josefstadt .
In 1955, Ibachstrasse in Vienna- Donaustadt (22nd district) was named after him.
