Alfred Loewenstein

Alfred Léonard Loewenstein (born March 11, 1877 in Brussels , † July 4, 1928 in the English Channel ) was a Belgian banker and entrepreneur . He disappeared in 1928 while flying over the English Channel. Whether death is to be classified as suicide, murder or accident is controversial. At the time of his death, Loewenstein was one of the richest men in the world.
