Alfred Zenns

Alfred Zenns (born January 4, 1880 in Landshut , † September 4, 1960 in Munich ) was a German civil engineer and university professor .

After completing his studies, Zenns obtained a doctorate in engineering (Dr.-Ing.). At the end of the 1920s he worked as a freelancer with the civil engineer Dr.-Ing. Otto Streck in Munich (“Zenns und Streck” engineering office). After working as a lecturer at the Technical University of Munich from 1936 to 1939 , he took over the chair for structural engineering, reinforced concrete, steel and wood construction there in 1939. From 1945 to 1948 he was also head of the materials testing office for construction at the Technical University of Munich. His retirement due to reaching the age limit took place in 1949.

He found his final resting place in the Munich forest cemetery .
