Alfredo De los Santos (born February 12, 1956 ) is a former Uruguayan football player .
Career
society
Defensive player De los Santos was from 1974 to 1979 in the ranks of Nacional Montevideo . In the 1977 season , his club won the Uruguayan championship in the Primera División . From 1979 to 1982 he was a member of the CA River Plate squad . During this period, his club triumphed in 1979 and 1980 in the Torneo Metropolitana and 1979 and 1981 in the Torneo Nacional. Further career stations were Club Atlético Defensor in 1983 , CA River Plate again in 1984 and the Barcelona Sporting Club in Ecuador from 1985 to 1986 .
National team
De los Santos belonged to the Uruguayan U-20 national team , which took part in the Junior South American Championship in Peru in 1975 and won the title. During the tournament he was used by coach Walter Brienza in six games. He did not score a hit. He was also a member of Uruguay's senior team , for which he played 25 international matches between September 21, 1975 and September 26, 1983. He did not score an international goal. With the Celeste he took part in the Copa America 1975 under coach Juan Alberto Schiaffino and at the Copa America 1983 under Omar Borrás . In 1983 he won the title with Uruguay. In 1977 he also won the Copa Artigas with Uruguay . Also at the Copa del Atlántico 1976 and as part of qualifying for the 1978 World Cup , he came to the train.
