Alfredo Zibechi , also known as Alfredo Zibecchi , (born October 30, 1895 in Montevideo , † June 19, 1958 ) was a Uruguayan football player .

The midfielder Zibechi, called el Pelado , brother Pedro and Armando Zibechis , first played for the Montevideo Wanderers in the Primera División from 1915 to 1916 . In 1917 he moved to competitor Nacional , where he was part of the squad until 1928. In 1917, 1919, 1920, 1922, 1923 and 1924 his club won the Uruguayan championship.

National team

Zibechi was also a member of the Uruguayan senior team . Overall, he completed from his debut on September 12, 1915 to his last game for the Celeste on November 2, 1924 39 internationals, in which he scored one goal. He participated with the national team in six South American championships . These were the tournaments in 1916 , 1919 , 1920 , 1921 , 1922 and 1924 . Uruguay won the title in 1916, 1920 and 1924.
